Turning Point Program
Sexually Transmitted Infections
If you're sexually active, it's important to protect yourself and your partner(s) from Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) with regular testing, condoms and immunizations.
PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis)
PrEP is medication taken daily by people at very high risk for HIV to lower the chance of getting infected with HIV. Your risk of getting HIV from sex can be even lower if along with PrEP, you use condoms every time.
PrEP is available through some family doctors. Call ahead to find out if this service is available at your family doctor. If PrEP isn’t available from your family doctor, you can get a prescription at many sexual health clinics across Saskatchewan.
